I'm not worried about Nintendo's friend code system as there's none of that for Monster Hunter 3 Tri.

And that's not a game for girls and grannies (to them I'd suggest Modern Warfareretend you're playing while a movie is playing around you). MH3Tri is a game for MEN who eat bloody beefs for dinner and don't cry like a wuss when all their progress for the last 45 minutes is stomped on by an instakill move from a building-sized monster =D

With the interviews that are coming out from Iwata and co I'm hopeful. Like many of you, I got a Wii then let it sit on the shelf... Even last year, I thought that I would never get another Nintendo product again, however, knowing that as soon as they show it off, I'd be first in line... I'm apart of the problem.

Anyway, I'm really hoping Nintendo goes after the "hardcore" market, more to some degree, and by that, I hope they make it to where 3rd parties make lots of great games for the system. The big issue is that it's hard for 3rd parties to make money on the Wii, because most people who are interested in Hard core games, already own a PS3 or Xbox.

Perhaps they will change all of that, still...

Back to the topic at hand, with the power of the system, and the potential to have a custom interface on the controller (aka Keyboard, or touch skills/macros) I'm hoping for a Port to the system, and hoping the system has a lot of power to really make this game look good.

Yeah. I'm going to buy it. But I'm sure it'ls going to spend most of it's time as a paperweight. They are aiming to make it comparable in power to a PS3 while the Sony and Xbox guys are already working on their next-gen systems....

Very true, if they just make it comparable then yes, I can see it having another short life, as everyone will move to PS4/Xbox720 or whatever...

Nintendo needs to pump in the hardware and online support this time around if they want to get and keep third party support. Still, for them it comes down to a cost issue, and not having seen the system, or knowing what it's capable of, I can only speculate on what I hope they are going to do.
