Just got my 3DS recently and considering it only needs one code for all online games, I think it's safe to say cafe will be more open to online stuff like MMOs. It should be a good E3.

Yeah they would probably contract the research and development to Toshiba and then back out when they were almost done. Then we could have a new console from Toshiba and nintendo would push out another cartridge system. LOLYou know what'd be even better? If Nintendo merged the concept of a console and a PC desktop into a small console which can plug into any monitor, operates off of a remote/gamecube controller, and is friendly with Gamecube/Wii games and Windows 7 files -hinthintcoughcough- Oh, but I can pipedream. Still... I like Nintendo, and the Wii for that matter- it's just a shame that FFCC, MHTri, and Sam&Max were the main good examples of classic RPG/Adventure games, especially because of good attempts but bad executions like Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga.
That is what I am thinking... Of course not knowing anything about the system, the idea that there could be that custom interface on the controller might make it easier for MMOs to be played on consoles, but I guess we'll know more here in a month.![]()

With the interviews that are coming out from Iwata and co I'm hopeful. Like many of you, I got a Wii then let it sit on the shelf... Even last year, I thought that I would never get another Nintendo product again, however, knowing that as soon as they show it off, I'd be first in line... I'm apart of the problem.
Anyway, I'm really hoping Nintendo goes after the "hardcore" market, more to some degree, and by that, I hope they make it to where 3rd parties make lots of great games for the system. The big issue is that it's hard for 3rd parties to make money on the Wii, because most people who are interested in Hard core games, already own a PS3 or Xbox.
Perhaps they will change all of that, still...
Back to the topic at hand, with the power of the system, and the potential to have a custom interface on the controller (aka Keyboard, or touch skills/macros) I'm hoping for a Port to the system, and hoping the system has a lot of power to really make this game look good.

If it's true the cafè it's potent like xbox and ps3, i'm willing to see ffxiv there. Afterall, xbox don't want it, so it can be possible
Yeah. I'm going to buy it. But I'm sure it'ls going to spend most of it's time as a paperweight. They are aiming to make it comparable in power to a PS3 while the Sony and Xbox guys are already working on their next-gen systems....With the interviews that are coming out from Iwata and co I'm hopeful. Very true, if they just make it comparable then yes, I can see it having another short life, as everyone will move to PS4/Xbox720 or whatever...
Nintendo needs to pump in the hardware and online support this time around if they want to get and keep third party support. Still, for them it comes down to a cost issue, and not having seen the system, or knowing what it's capable of, I can only speculate on what I hope they are going to do.

I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
