Daily bump until a dev response.
How is this thread being continually ignored by Square Enix?
I play from Australia and have played as a leading HC raider in Wow, Rift and Stwor. I believe myself capable of moving from AOE when required. But in Final Fantasy XIV I feel like an invalid and a hindrance in nearly every Titan group I join.
I move on every Plume and see myself standing out side and its still a 50/50 chance that I get hit. I watch others on my screen when dead and They seem to take forever to move but still not get hit, its frustrating as hell.
I'm already using Battleping which helps me dodge the AOE sometimes(without it I get hit everytime).
I already regret making a 90day subscription.
Please fix this or at least communicate with your Community regarding this Bug/latency/lag whatever you want to call it.
Daily bump, I have completely given up on Titan now. Shouts on my server now include the requirements "No lag" on a regular basis...
The feeling you get when you are caught in something letting down the 7 other people is horrific as is the feeling when 7 other people blast you down for being an idiot when you are doing all you can to avoid. I can pre-run like a god now but still in P5 my pre running has to be so heavily luck based that I don't run to someone else plume or leave my plume at the feet of a running mage. I have a brilliant free company of people I played FF11 with so right now I am waiting to see how much head way we can make doing the fight together as they reach it - I am not holding out much hope. I can truly see why people pay for this run and the game has totally change my opinion on mercs and paying for runs... I imagine some people truly think it is the only way through.
I love the game and I could have seen myself playing it for a long time....
It helps if you line up, so each one just have to move back or forward because all players stay left or right of each other...Daily bump, I have completely given up on Titan now. Shouts on my server now include the requirements "No lag" on a regular basis...

I tried this four times and each went off.
Let me add that my computer is high end. Very high end. I don't notice any frame rate lag. The game SEEMLY runs perfectly on top graphics. And if it weren't for this server lag it would be...
I guess they didn't replied to this thread yet because they still can't make a final decision on the issue, and that's mean they're considering to do something about it.
thing is we are not getting real time info to our screens yes internet delay is part of the problem so is graphic delay. but having the info so late because of built in delay and transfer delay and graphics delay makes it nearly impossible for some players. the instance servers are definitely slow compared to the world servers. they have an extra step built in between lobby/instance/players the world servers don't have. this increases lag.
They can at least respond with the usual, Rest assured we are doing something about it blah blah details release later....
At least people won't feel ignored and such >.<
I wouldn't really like that now that this is almost to 130 pages, I want more of a definite response now.
