    Have they fixed the latency issues yet?

    Nope.

    They have claimed that they have increased the position update polling in certain high level encounters. I haven't noticed a difference.

    That is very disappointing. It's pretty much the only problem that holds me from coming back.

    Yep. Many have had their issues corrected when SE changed the PR from 0.3 to 0.1 however a 3rd party routing they go through (most popular Level3.net) is having issues currently which is causing problems for people who route through them to reach the datacenters.
