    London UK - ping about 90ms to server.

    brb about to wipe in a pug on hydra ^^

    Our pc specs are about the same, I have 75 down 25 up and as mentioned a lower ping.

    Do you have the info on your uk friends up/down & ping? My other uk friends do not get lag either.

    If you watch shepdogs guides he seems to have no problems with lag either.

    I know it's a problem, a couple of FC members have to use ping zap to prevent it. I might create on a jp server with higher ping to see if I suffer cast bar lag. Could you recommend where to start what mobs to test on as level 1?

    Edit 9000- yes this post desperately needs some sort of acknowledgment from SE - come on guys !!

    Ok i wanna bump this for support, i know extremely skilled players in mmo's, but they simply cant dodge titans moves becouse of the server issues.
    And why in the name of all moogles are you guys bringing out extreme modes for the primals when people are already suffering on HM with lag.
    i do not mind payinga monthly fee, but then u sure as hell beter fix the quality of gameplay you are giving.
    You guys came a long way from 1.0 and i respect you for this SE, but the lag issue fix should be a bare minimum and a prioity over any other content, as lag at end game = no end game possible.
    But considering this post has made 138 pages and none of the development has replied to this yet doesnt give me much hope...

    I downloaded a titan skill rotation picture, put it in my 2nd monitor,
    Now I move before the AOE comes out, & never get hit

    but you know what? To me, the battle is even boring than before.
    if almost every hard bosses are like this, put a skill rotation picture aside, remember the boring skill rotation,
    SE, do you think players will keep playing this game for over 1 year?

    I would hit it at that distance, any further and it's iffy. I think it was more of a problem in beta.

    don't think you understand how a possibilities/randomization AI works. its not: make the boss do what they can't do normally. just that the list of possibilities are used randomly so you can't know in advance what attack 1-2-3-4-5... will be special moves still have the same required circumstances to initiate but once they have been fulfilled its not sure the boss will immediately use the move it could happen right away or be a few turns after. and regular attacks are all possible at any time making it a much more challenging fight and different for each encounter until someone has fought it so many times they exhaust all possibilities.

    Yes. Take the abbot raid in DDO, it's a good example of a good fight rather than this scripted stuff. Once you get past the puzzle phases and start fighting the abbot in earnest he can start doing his "Inferno" skill and spam it rather often and other times you only see it once during the whole boss fight.

    This what we need bosses with 1 to 10? skills that the boss uses randomly instead of what we have now were he uses the same skills in the exact same order and to add "difficulty" they turn this game into a stupid dexterity check.

    Until Titan does Mountain Buster 6x in a row due to using abilities at random.

    Yup, sick of Bosses where we have to fight as if it were dance steps. Of course, SE also needs to rethink the dodge/player check mechanics to compensate for players with reasonable latency issues. Its fine to check skills at 0.3333 sec intervals, but position check still at least be 3 times faster, especially since the monsters dont naturally follow the GCD rules.
