id like to see titans moves randomized, then we will see who still thinks they dont lag

don't see how SE, Yoshi in particular can call a scripted boss fight Hard mode in the first place.
the one thing this game lacks in spades is a real AI with possibilities instead of scripted actions. the repetitive hundred runs through the same dungeons being called Endgame is laughable. games used scripted actions 10 years ago because AI with some semblance of reaction to environment was nearly impossible to add into a game at the time.
the very advances in environmental 3D alone since then is evidence enough that free choices AI could be added to the MOBs making the fights true challenges without the lame increases in HP's and defense/immunity to damage that is being used to strengthen them.
I can't wait for PVP to be released, the shit will hit the fan then. SE you are digging your own grave at the moment, this lag needs to be addressed immediately.

Games are scripted because you'd have to be a moron to lose to 8 guys if you get to control a boss, so any boss that's beatable at all clearly isn't very smart. Even if you're forced to obey aggro list for targetting/positioning (otherwise turn around and Mountain Buster, instant game over), if you can simply say use all your moves at the same time you would still almost certainly never lose as the boss.
don't think you understand how a possibilities/randomization AI works. its not: make the boss do what they can't do normally. just that the list of possibilities are used randomly so you can't know in advance what attack 1-2-3-4-5... will be special moves still have the same required circumstances to initiate but once they have been fulfilled its not sure the boss will immediately use the move it could happen right away or be a few turns after. and regular attacks are all possible at any time making it a much more challenging fight and different for each encounter until someone has fought it so many times they exhaust all possibilities.Games are scripted because you'd have to be a moron to lose to 8 guys if you get to control a boss, so any boss that's beatable at all clearly isn't very smart. Yes. Take the abbot raid in DDO, it's a good example of a good fight rather than this scripted stuff. Once you get past the puzzle phases and start fighting the abbot in earnest he can start doing his "Inferno" skill and spam it rather often and other times you only see it once during the whole boss fight.don't think you understand how a possibilities/randomization AI works. its not: make the boss do what they can't do normally. just that the list of possibilities are used randomly so you can't know in advance what attack 1-2-3-4-5... will be special moves still have the same required circumstances to initiate but once they have been fulfilled its not sure the boss will immediately use the move it could happen right away or be a few turns after. and regular attacks are all possible at any time making it a much more challenging fight and different for each encounter until someone has fought it so many times they exhaust all possibilities.
This what we need bosses with 1 to 10? skills that the boss uses randomly instead of what we have now were he uses the same skills in the exact same order and to add "difficulty" they turn this game into a stupid dexterity check.
Yup, sick of Bosses where we have to fight as if it were dance steps. Of course, SE also needs to rethink the dodge/player check mechanics to compensate for players with reasonable latency issues. Its fine to check skills at 0.3333 sec intervals, but position check still at least be 3 times faster, especially since the monsters dont naturally follow the GCD rules.Yes. Yeah that and the bots and lack of things to do right now is why the wife and I haven't subbed yet even though we both bought the CE. We hope they will fix the dodge mechanic and at least fix the 300ms checks. Just that would more than likely see us sub to the game. As it is now though I can't help but feel like they want me to play like thisYup, sick of Bosses where we have to fight as if it were dance steps. Fix the unacceptable delay when dodging AOEs. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/84124-Either-make-dodging-AoEs-possible-or-make-them-not-instant-kills
Fix it! http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/89828-Sorry-SE-but-endgame-won-t-work-if-you-don-t-fix-something.
