Sadly I wish this was true. As Camate put it:

I saw the quote that you put about what accepted bugs meant. I guess what I meant was that it being in the forum means they'll look into it and either confirm it or say it's working as intended, but the fact that it's there means they'll at least look at it at some point. Not that it's confirmed to be a bug or anything, but yeah. It isn't confirmed.. outside of Yoshi stating the .3 delay is down from .5 seconds, which means it's intentional. When I think of them not improving upon it further though, I get sad.

I do hope you did not take my quote of you as an attack. I saw it as a nice way to point to that quote by Camate for those that might not have seen it.
