apparently half the skill is knowing to be out by 80% otherwise you are terrible at the game /endsarcasmGood to see more pics. The general consensus is that if you try to dodge an AOE with the cast bar beyond 80% you get hit. That's the 300ms positional check and some additional lag. Why can't SE just make the hit register at 120-130%? If people with a 20ms ping to the server still get hit between 80-99% cast bar then it wouldn't be making it over easy for them either.

I don't understand your post.
I proposed a possible solution. I agree it's not working correctly. SE have had several years to work this out and it seems this is the best they can get. So instead of trying to further optimise netcode they may just have to stick a plaster it. I wonder if the QA tests in house with 0 connection lag can dodge moving out at 99% cast and if they test from JP to the NA datacentre.
