they dont care about na/eu at all, or did some community rep respond on this matteR? they know it lags.. but they can´t do shit about routing ^_°
Something does not feel right with your game: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/86836-The-Navel-(Hard)-plume-animation-damage-impact-out-of-sync http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/71728-The-problem-with-Instant-OFF-GCD-abilities-makes-combat-feel-less-rewarding http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/91388-Silence-not-taking-effect-even-though-it-is-used-before-enemy-finishes-the-casting http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/86887-Unable-to-activate-skills-even-though-UI-displays-them-as-available-for-use
that means the positional update came AFTER you got hit. I have the same issue, after awhile i stopped dodging that move because it's just impossible on my connection. Can anyone explain this to me ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6vxn2Q2pv3o
If its lag i should not be kicked in this direction right? This basicaly means that the server knows where im standing but still hit me(kick in wrong direction).
If you can't dodge Titan's moves you either
A. suck
or
B. have a bad connection.
I was in the latter camp for a bit, and I too thought it was an issue on SE's end, but it was actually a ping issue on my end (high ping). Once I fixed this I can literally count on one hand the number of times I've been hit with his moves. Yes we can discuss the .3s update to character location, but clearly it's not an issue when 8 people have no trouble dodging his moves. People are just frustrated that they're slow and blaming SE for it. Stop sucking or get a better connection.
This is called learning a pattern. The issue of this thread is that any new encounter is affected by the delay/lag.If you can't dodge Titan's moves you either
A. suck
or
B. have a bad connection.

This thread comes to the top less and less often. People are being accustomed to this and will let the game rot in combat models of 2005.
/sigh
Some have quit and some have learned to live with it. A small minority still holds on to hope but I bet most know that this will never be fixed. If it was going to be fixed it would have happened years ago, or in the case of FFXI, a decade ago.
I posted regularly and still read it daily. Having learnt the pattern I can dodge most AOEs by pre running about 2 seconds before I know the cast bar is going to appear. Its not fool proof and it is definitely not the way I want to be playing the game and I am sure this is not the way they designed the game. Surely a good team should be able to come into a fight and win first time if they are using the visual clues to be on their A game and dodging kings that day. I had to learn to pre dodge a move before any visual clue by learning a rotation ... if this was what was wanted in the game why bother with flashy animations and warning areas at all.
Once (I hope it'll eventually happen) SE gives some kind of a response to this matter, I'm 100% that it's either gonna make the forums explode with posts filled of happiness and joy or posts filled with rage. Anyways, there's gonna be a huge amount of posts and topics. And yes. I wrote this just to bump this thread.
