I haven't fought Titan yet, but it goes like this...

enemy starts casting aoe->red appears on ground->red disappears from ground->enemy casts aoe

You have to be out of the red area BEFORE it disappears, the red area disappears BEFORE the spell is cast. Figure out the system, work in it, then own it.

Notice how this guy is out of the AoE BEFORE it disappears and BEFORE the cast bar is full?
