We'll easily get this thread to breach 100 pages in the coming week or two. I don't understand how we haven't had a community rep response yet. The most likely situation is that the reps have passed this thread (and countless others) onto the developers and are being told to sit tight whilst they work out if they can do something to improve the netcode + international lag.
It would be nice to just get a crown tagged onto the thread so we know that it is in fact being looked into and not just ignored. The thread requesting for different retainer outfits got a full dev response in about three pages! How insignificant is that compared to this game-breaking (for many, not all I acknowledge) design flaw.
I've subscribed for 3 months in the hope that Squeenix will decide to expand the server farms(or preferably have local region servers for NA/JP/EU) and revamp the code enabling much quicker position updating (30ms would be fine! This is 2013, that shouldn't be a problem with the hardware available today! At the very least a hybrid design in which the client can overrule the server) However if there is no progress on this front, or at least a showing of intent of progress then I'm afraid I'll just let the subscription die. I thought that my monthly payment was supposed to be precisely for this kind of improvement? The improvement of game's responsiveness will cement me to this game much more than bringing in Lightning, the character that epitomises everything that's wrong with games these days in my opinion (flashy graphics/animation with no gameplay or story creativity/substance).
That's my two pence and I'm entitled to them!![]()

We did get a lock for a few days there. At least they know we're here.
Titan HM seems to lag excessively - packets only seem to send every 300ms regardless of your ping to the server. There is certainly a significant disparity between position on the client screen and position as interpreted by the server. Certain periods throughout the day "spikes" where 15-20% packets seem to drop are common.
I have Verizon FiOs (50/25Mdps) and even I experience these issues on a regular basis in & out of instances.
After contacting my ISP -> I have no throttling or any other form of limitation on my connection; run tracert/netstat/ping -t next time you play (if you're a PC user)
Daily bump.
I've had these issues since launch, I'm now working on killing Titan and people are getting hit by AoE that they are clearly out of. If this issue of server responsiveness is not fixed soon people will not continue to pay their subscriptions to play !!!!

The only thing that sucks about this game's "end game" is grinding the same shitty dungeon 8 times a week for a few months. Get rid of that shit and the stupid cap on myth tomes.
Odd. I barely need to even run AK once a week to get Myth cap'd.
150 from Turn 1-4, a couple primals here and there (for gil of course).
Myth cap is required or you'd just grind "the same shitty dungeon" until you're full LV90 gear and then what? Then you blow through Coil not how it was intended? You blow through Crystal Tower as soon as its out?
You make unrealistic demands.
Fix the tank classes. They are boring as hell!
