But honestly facebook is not a good way to get a company like IGN to respond, You will get more of a response if you use any internal system they have for site members, or better yet, an email campaign from people from FFXIV starting with a good cover email and featuring some snippets from this and other posts.

Good idea, it is just that.. anybody with enough money or influence to change anything or even sway the opinion of those who can does not pay attention to facebook or care what anyone on it says. Just now reading some comments from the picture you linked I can assure you nobody cares what any of those people typed. The best way to go about this is to get smaller communities together, IE: Old gaming clans, WoW Guilds, Rift Guilds, Tera Guilds, DoTA Groups, Gaming Communities, EVE Corps & Alliances, FFS EQ Guilds, gaming bloggers, small reviewers and such.

By reaching enough of them they can lobby on behalf of their full membership to show the strength(Buying power) of their numbers thus allowing for a large amount of people to display how unhappy they are about the state of this game while serving the dual purpose of preventing this game from being peddled to our dear and wonderful friends, the intelligent gamers.

I'll do what I can to get my chums together to boycott this game and spread not slander but truth about how the game works.

If this does not work and even if it does perhaps to get from getting bored we should also start funny pictures, or word games...

This whole thing just seems like a case of "If they were going to fix it, they would have already."

This thread is enormous and the issue is huge and has gotten a lot of attention from a lot of people even outside of this forum, yet there are no responses other than generic copy/paste mod replies. The only other one seems to be from a developer himself seemingly telling us that they've done all they can and that was a long time ago.

Apparently this game isn't as big of a financial liability for SE than a lot of us think. Either way, with the amount of copies they sold I'm sure they'll be completely fine even if a month from now most of the servers are dead. The next single player FF game will be a huge hit.

I agree every launch has its issues however what I find less acceptable is complete silence from SE after 69 pages (and more on other posts) of very specific and detailed issue report on this topic.

There's a difference between challenge and frustration. Now seeing a situation on your screen which does not correspond to the reality is pure frustration, it totally overwrites the fun part a good challenge in battle provides.

I saw myself countless times very far away from the AOE and get hit, while my hubby still saw me standing right in the middle of the AOE. This coupled with the 0.5 sec delay must be fixed, period.

I will resume my sub once this has been sorted out by SE.

I agree the way the games net code is shocking, at times. I do think the devs need to make a post about it or reply to the relevant ones on the forums. But from the looks of things "SE" got very bad forum rep
