I agree in a game such as Street Fighter, you need good latency (that's why I play on xbox and not PS3), but for a game like FFXIV, it isn't "That" important... :P

This whole thing just seems like a case of "If they were going to fix it, they would have already."

This thread is enormous and the issue is huge and has gotten a lot of attention from a lot of people even outside of this forum, yet there are no responses other than generic copy/paste mod replies. The only other one seems to be from a developer himself seemingly telling us that they've done all they can and that was a long time ago.

Apparently this game isn't as big of a financial liability for SE than a lot of us think. Either way, with the amount of copies they sold I'm sure they'll be completely fine even if a month from now most of the servers are dead. The next single player FF game will be a huge hit.
