Recently the lag from time warner cable has all but disappeared for me I don't get hitby anything if I'm paying attention at all , but endgame contents gets mind numbingly boring so I guess there's that. As far as lag is concerned though I'm a happy camper

Current JP server:
On my ADSL: so easy to dodge. On titan plumes, out of circle literally means out of hit. lol
On my mobile connection: might still need a bit anticipation for dodging.

Back on my old NA server:
my ADSL: already got like 300+ ms. Really need anticipation. On titan, need to run like whole diameter length of plume to actually avoid the hits.

I don't think its a kink, I think its a massive part of the game that can't be worked out so quickly. They probably never foresaw it testing it on their JP servers in headquarters, but real world problem like this happen. Hopefully they fix it (make client side completely) at some point within 6 months, since this game is amazing graphics and fun to play.

Still have the game installed, waiting either for a fix to the lag or for the F2P.

The fact that a VPN can solve this and that a good chunk of players aren't affected by it clearly shows it's not SE's fault but whatever route your internet traffic takes.

It doesn't, since the same people do NOT have those problems with any other MMO.

Because internet traffic doesn't take the same route for everything, just like you don't take the same road to go to different places.

There's something between their ISP and SE's servers that fucks up the latency for those players.
