New Genders and PC Players!

...now as a one time option for current players, I would agree that a gender change/race change should be allowed for free when PS3 version is released.

I wasn't asking for specifics on any of the new race information, I just want to know if there is a more solid decision being made about the one-time change.

But yeah, the gender one is an absolute must... I'll be so displeased with SE if they add male miqotes, but don't give us the option of sex changing to them for those of us who already have female miqotes...

I don't care about the lore friendliness of it, have a npc dr. frankenstein go around giving sex changes or w/e, I really just don't care lol. As long as they fit it in there somehow.

Please allow that one simple courtesy SE, it was your fault for being so late to add those genders in the first place. >

If we don't hear confirmation of that sometime well before the PS3 launch, I vote we all pile on as many e-mails to that producer guy as humanly possible until he caves.

I would say always give options. PC players have toughed out the game through since the begining. As such we should all have an OPTIONAL one time race/gender change that only allows us to change into one of the new combinations added.

Additionally add in the option to change gender/race at an additional fee as many times as you want. Make is something like 19.99 or 29.99 so that the cost is NOT trivial and people will really think about changing it, but at least it gives you the option and give SE some more options for cash flow.

Name changes should be added in as a fee'd service also.

I dunno, I think they should still do race changes too. I would definitely consider changing to male Miqo'te but we didn't have that option at launch. I didn't want to play a female character so female Miqo'te was out for me, as a result I chose midland Hyur. I know quite a few people who did the same thing. One-time 100% character re-creation when new race/gender combos launch.

If the ticket is a one time change to your character, I seriously doubt they'd go out of their way to throw in any limitations as to what you can change. Just my guess.

I'm all for race/gender change. I'm sick of being one of the 376,654,845 Lalafell's out here... Didn't realise they would be so popular and I'm buggered if I know why I thought that...

Also, allow people to do a name change at the same time for those that have gender specific names. I'm sure there are a few out there that wouldn't mind having a trans-gender, but for the majority, it would be a welcome addition.

Im perfectly happy with my female hyur, but I know plenty of people would have liked to be one of the missing genders. I would certainly hate to have to restart as a new character just to play the race/gender I wanted so I am all for this!
