    I really hope they do let us change if the new genders are released. I'll be staying the same but my girlfriend picked miqote at launch without realizing that over half the population of the game would be picking the same (she didn't play xi). Now that we have some sort of idea what the female roegadyns will look like she really wants to switch.

    I'm voting yes because as funny as Mi'quote Fantasy Online was at first I'm getting a bit annoyed at having 6 to a party.

    I'm down for that, not that I would use it, but so that players can change their race once for free with the new ones, and after a period of time, perhaps there would be a cost with it... But yes, I would rather players do this, then start from Rank 1, unless they really wanted to.

    I support the character recreation route. But I personally will be starting over from scratch so I can get more emotionally attached to my Character.

    I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders.     Same Cairdeas. I also would like to see the game from a newbs perspective while using my past experiences to compare how much the game changed at ps3 launch.

    edit: Surplus would be removed also so I can effectively level without being constrained.

    I'm totally on board, i've always wanted to be shorter^.^ but i still really want the haircut function to be added. You cant see my tiara with my hair now, its too long at the front >.<
