oh and this is failed to mention and goes with the you wont be able to change what people do. You think if SE did actually implement that effects them will stop them? No they will just find another way to work around the system. They always have and they always will. It will just punish legitimate players while the afk-leveler's/botters find another way around the system and implement it, which will make all of you come back on here and say they need to change the system again, and it will continue the never ending cycle.

Please explain to me how this will be of any use at all. There is no detrimental effect to dying in this game, and the person will simply lie there, gaining sp/exp unless you move out of range. Now, I'm not sure how big this range is, but I'd think it to be the very same one that you get sp/exp from while alive, I highly doubt that they'd have bothered adding two different ranges for it. Additionally, behests especially seem to be in a very concentrated spot from what I've seen so you couldn't even move out of range.

That is a pretty vile thing to say. No he wasn't a bad parent. To say that is what I'm talking about. 7 year old are not babies. They can and do make their own food. I know tons of parent who play mmo. It isn't his fault his kid got food while he was playing. What was wrong is he felt the "requirement" to tell is party he had to go afk. Accidents happen all the time. Sorry but please stop always assuming the worst out of people.

That is what this thread is really about. Immature players who feel the need to control others on a video game. And if they go against your "code of ethics" then they are bad people. I'm just trying to establish that isn't the case. Sorry but stuff happens in real life. If I have to go afk w/o saying, then it was due to something importent. If you guys can't understand that and want to insult me or other people, then it is you with the problem.

Also basing your opinion on what you think you see in other parties is also wrong.

Kilta, please stop trying to derail this topic from it's original meaning. This topic isn't about hurting people's feeling, what people do in real life or circumstances that make people have to afk in the game.

This topic is about ORGANIZED afking and leeching. This has never been about people having to afk for legitimate reasons. You might have had bad experiences with people for having an emergency and having to AFK, but this topic has absolutely nothing to do with that.

The OP even added a screenshot and went on to explain that this topic is only targeting ORGANIZATION of parties with the prime idea of abusing the current SP system which allows you to gain SP while not even engaged in the battle. You don't even take damage from an enemy monster when you're not engaged, so you're perfectly safe to leech SP as well.

Like I've already posted in this topic, I don't believe there is a solution that SE can implement without hurting legitimate players. However, discouraging such organization is an option. Refusing to partake in these parties, ignoring and staying away from people you know that do this can leave a big impression on people. Actions speak louder than words in this case.

Groups who orginize to do it, let them, they arent hurting anyone(if they are rmt, then they need to be hit under that rule, we dont need more anti player rules to enforce it let the task force handle it not make the devs do something more).

my problem is now, and will always be those who arent orginized and try to do it anyway. When you are hurting others by making them work harder to carry you because you are too busy to actualy be at your computer in behest, in leve parties and so on. And it is PURELY on the part of the players, especialy party leaders to deal with this as it is. The problem is alot of party leaders dont care so it enocurages it.

On this issue I think it's best to let players have the control of the situation. Do we really want to be restricted unnecessarily? A party leader doing their role can easily remove anyone that is not participating. The less hand holding the better. I vote for party freedom don't restrict us.

Yes, this is the whole point of the thread. Not about having gramma account on afk follow once in a while to cure bot you because of whatever reason.

So instead of flaming/lobbying in favor of leaving this people alone, you should start asking yourself if you shouldn't flame people abusing this behavior rather than wasting time posting here. If this behavior does really get out of hands and ends up in the TOS, not only the people abusing this, organized AFK pt, will be affected but also the people who "fair use" this. you, me, your gramma, sister, friend, eccetera.

No one really "fair uses" this. None of you should honestly get any sp if you're pooping. It's just a courtesy that doesn't benefit you enough to justify it's abuse potential.
