While I will agree it is detrimental to the party, if there is a warm body sitting there at the computer who cares if he is playing but 'not playing'.

You all are too nice.

Here is what you should do.

1 - Don't HEAL HIM

2 - Bring behest mobs which do AOE attacks and spells NEXT TO HIM

3 - Refer to step 1

He will die.

All this crying on the forums will do is force SE to enable some afk time limiter and you will have to pee in 180 seconds before you are dropped from the party. This leads to other things they haven't programmed into the game yet. Which means you won't see it change. There are far more important things to work on first before your little concern.
