AFK Leveling

On top of everything I have said, I do not agree with afk/following leveling people do in Behest. At that point the Party leader should notice it and kick him from the party. That is the most perfect system developed in the game to fight AFK Leveling, the PT leader just ousts them out of the party because they are not holding up their fairshare in the fight, but if its a group of friends leveling, you are going to punish them, when the PT leader is perfectly fine with it? Goes back to it's a game people and friends will play a game how they want to play, or how the developers want it to play. That is why the developer's gave the leader's the ability to "Oust" people from party's because it is up to them and the people in the party how they want to level. Not someone outside of their party that a) they are not actually effecting gameplay wise. and b) it's their game not your's they do what they want.

the problem is the worst offenders go out of their way to make the parties so they cant be kicked

Yes your blunt and in this case can be rude. These people are not criminals so do not treat them as such. Unless you fully know wjat is going on, who do noy nor should say rude comments.
In ffxi i had 2 family members die suddenly and had to run to the hospital I had no time to tell anyone on ffxi or the group I was with. I pretty much got told put my coat on and headed out the door. I got back after several hours to finbd I was not only kicked from the group, but everyone left me rude comments and saw a few shouts not to group with me.

That crap isn't ok. Nor shpuld be tolerated. And that is what exactally what op wants to do.
Blacklisting players via shouts over the community is wrong. Asuming the worst of everyone is wrong.

there is nothing wrong with booting people frmo behest for not being at their comp, period

if you dont have time to play, then dont play

but dont expect to be dragged for free exp

and dont go to a 40 camp at rank 10 and expect to not get booted either


more people want behest leaders like me cuz we enforce stuff instead of letting everyone ruin the experience for everyone else by being lazy or making us lose sp aoeing everything


remember, first and foremost people do behest for SP and everyone must pull their weight

also what happens in your personal life has NOTHING to do with the game, people dying? so what, you can easily say "emergency gotta go" and drop group, but to get mad at people for kicking you when your gone for hours, thats pathetic, they had every right to be mad at you for not giving them a simple 5 second message to say you gotta run

thats called leeching, and there is never an excuse for it

I won't answer your post about the blah-blah, sorry not going to fuel troll attacks started by Shia in which you poped mysteriously right after I /blisted him on the board.

That or the people using some auto-atk bot/scripts in behest. The thing is behest goes fast and you cannot kick somebody out of the PT when a mob is engaged, so you're stuck with either afk'ers or people with the auto-atk script. Easy to see those using the auto-atk script, they keep tabbing even before behest started AND atk non-leve mobs. The most obvious is when they go straight ahead to other mobs when the leve mobs are next to them.


At this rate the game will be nicknamed BOT fantasy XIV or AFK-leveling fantasy XIV, where ranking up became pretty easy but yet people are still so lazy that they get their classes p-leveled.

Does that sound attracting to you if you weren't playing the game and would like to try it? People make their own judgement but yet most are pretty biased too.

I'm not, nor have I ever, attacked anyone. I haven't attacked anyone's principles, morals or how they choose to play. I am on the defense. I am defending my right to play as I please regardless of what anyone else thinks about it. I'm not stealing their monsters. I'm not ninja looting their gear. I'm simply playing with my friends (many of whom come and go over the course of a 3 hour period). I don't have a problem with it. I told them they could do it. I enjoy it.

If you had read all of my posts before BList me, you'd see that I actually CHAMPION-ed the old system because it absolutely 100% prevented AFK leveling. It was something I was excited about. I was so happy that people could come and go as they please, but if they were gone too long they wouldn't be getting any SP as they wouldn't be hitting a mob.

I loved that system. I would have seen it tweaked rather than thrown away.

It was thrown away, though, and now I have a system that I use to get SP the fastest way I know how. I let people Link Leves with me and I let them go about their business (or they fight) and we call it square. I get what I want. They get a free ride. Everyone gets something. We're all HAPPY.

I don't see why anyone wants to take our happiness away. The only authority on the subject is SE, and since this thread was directed to SE specifically, I had every right to present a counter argument.
