Is the two in the Ls? or is it just two picked-up?
If all four are in the Ls I still see no problem. However if two are random people and have a problem with it then stop joining them. The good thing about FF online community is everyone has a rep.

LOL this is so inaccurate. We only have 1 person fighting and 5-6 in tow, and take shifts. It's called teamwork.

The difference is this is not against user agreement and botting is. Unlike most LS we take botting very seriously, and have banned multiple people for botting.

As long as those other people are at their pc, I see no issue with it, honestly. But afk leveling seems like cheating to me.

There is a difference when someone goes on follow to say, run to the restroom, but it's something else entirely when the intention cheat, for lack of a better word.

No its not cheating. Cheat is botting meaning you run programs to control that character. Be on afk /follow isn't cheating.

And again how other people choose to level (unless it is botting) is none of your buiness.

You guys really need to get off your high horses and come to the realization that your jealousy is going to kill the game.
You do not know the full story and should not judge people.

Witch hunting people is a vile practice.
And understand that any counter measures will effect EVERYONE. Meaning no one will be able to go afk at all.

The only solutions here is to just butt out of other peoples buiness, and if someone goes afk for too long kick them POLITLY.

this is the point, but is also the issue. the point is any rule that was made to stop the person that is intentionally leveling their character by auto following could wind up hurting the ones that had to go potty in the middle of a few hour party. if a rule lets people take actions based off discretion where does that line get drawn? remember we are not the ones with the gm tags so we have no say in who would get punished for it.

I never suggested putting rules in place to stop afk levelling, my post was meant to highlight the morality of (or lack thereof) of doing so.

oh yeah i wasn't meaning as a contradiction of you post. i agree being towed behind level after level for cheating ranks is wrong and should not be done, but i do not see how a rule, other than the ones already in game, can stop this without hurting the active people in parties that need a 1 or 2 minute potty break.

i do agree it is immoral to the extreme to afk leech for levels, but i do not see it immoral to say i an going to auto follow you real quick while i use the bathroom. i was just saying to take an action that stops the first will also hurt the second.
