I don't understand peoples "solutions" to this problem and the arguments going on. I opened this thread thinking I'd see someone complaining about how easy this game is, and how people are literally afk while leveling. I spent most of my time leveling reading forums and watching tv/anime/movies/msning on my 2nd monitor because of how boring and easy this games combat system is, and how mobs SP caps at +10, which are duoable mobs for a healer + DPS. Meaning we fight mobs people can duo with a slight challenge with 8 people, making every fight last like 5 seconds where mobs die in seconds with little to no teamwork, strategy, or trying.
The easiest solution to this problem is to make the game challenging(I can't believe only one person suggested this out of 3 pages of replies..people saying RMT and botters and stuff, really? lol?). In FFXI if one person wasn't pulling their weight in a 6 man party, it showed, it destroyed your exp, and 99% of the time it wiped your entire party. That person got kicked, and if kicked enough he'd stop getting invited to parties because the server would know about his leeching/afking.
That's all that needs to be done in this game, make every fight challenging where every player has to pull their weight and try their hardest, basically copy FF11's leveling system. It was very fun, challenging, and rewarding. ^-^ It is the main problem with this game, and it shows more and more everday.
"AFK leveling", botting, dual boxing(non-outside party higher level PL dual boxing), and leeching only happens when the game is easy. I don't blame people for afk leveling right now, I blame the game for being too easy.
