AFK Leveling

As a well known fact that nothing has been done yet and nothing can/will be done about people doing Powerlvling for their friends/family/LS mates by their own will from SE's side since 2002 FFXI released. seriously what to complain about in this case, for some people who never played FFXI or any other MMORPGs perhaps?

and the thing totally different between PLing and Botting/RMTing is i can admit that ive been doing the PL stuff for whoever i like for ages long at anytime/place to anybody because its allowed/Legit. yet so far who dares to mention half a word about he/she/it has done botting/RMT trading? simply because its illegal so please some ppl dont mix up them all together as the same concept maybe.

Also hell it must be as hard as some rocket science to play a RPG such as FFXIV, therefore if you get one of your job powerlvled you dont get to know/learn and obtain the skills at how to play it properly after all in some people's ridiculous theory.

As one example of myself's that I lvled my THM almost the entire time by PLing then i must have totally no clue how to play it typically. but next i did duo/trio dodore with my LS mates/friends successfully as my THM(refer to youtube videos made by LS members) multiple times(before the nm nerfed) with complete lack of skills? So where does that theory stand actually,well now you can say the game is too easy to play i guess? "Rocket science theory" goes away?

everyone gets their own way to play the game and learn how to play it in my opinion.

Whether we "should" or "shouldn't" is currently irrelevant. We do.

We don't need self-inflicted guidelines telling us that when our friends need to "wc" we should oust them. Now, strangers, I agree. If someone I didn't know tried to leech for more than 1-2 min off my party, I'd oust them. It's just that there are some people who I have an arrangement with. We always stay within 3 levels of each other. We level everyday. We don't worry if someone needs to study for a test or do their laundry. We get the job done with them in tow.

Anyway, my point is you can think "this shouldn't be!" but it is.
You can tell SE how you think. If they agree with you, it will change. If they don't see it as harmful, they won't.

They are the ones who make the call, though. Not players around me.

if they are botting, its illegal

we should be reporting any suspicious activity for that first
not asking for the devs to make ways that will prevent it, and inconvenience players at the same time

how else do you think we got fatigue....(oh yes, let us have more versions of it please)

Its Acknowledged by SE and SE has allowed it to happen since their 1st MMO made back 2002.

I auto followed my b/f alot in ffxi as I leeched off his pages in cape terrigae as long as the highesr member checked the mob as a T anyone can get pages done at any level. We did this because it was a trade of of me and him level syncing to do pages. Also see summoner burn parties, also see duel box PLing.

I think this was more true of accounts bought at Lv75 or end-game in WoW.

It goes to show that a lot of people still have their minds wrapped around an XI way of playing and thinking. Trying to min/max and be elite and the best they can be - when the game is built around playing how you want, when you want, and building your own customized classes.

They don't see ranking up Gladiator as "farming Gladiator abilities to use on your Conjurer." They will still say things like "You play Gladiator poorly if you AFK level it to 50." Well "playing Gladiator" is meaningless. Gladiator isn't a role. It's just a skill set. You could say I don't tank well, and I'd say "Yep. I don't want to tank."

Even so though, the learning curve of XIV is much easier to pick up (and 50 is such a low cap, so far) that playing a Rank 50 job isn't really much different than playing a Rank 20 job. Heck, half the abilities you get after 25 are just the "suchandsuch II" ability anyway.

It's a throw away argument. It's a mindset of a different game being carried over to this one.
