AFK Leveling

Because I hated PLD level 1 to 37 in XI, one night I put my friend on follow in the dunes. He phone called me when I hit 20 and then we went to qufim. I went back to bed. He called me a bit later, maybe two hours later, I was level 24. He took us to Kazham, and I went back to bed. Called me later and told me, "We are moving to Crawlers' Nest." Ran to Crawlers' Nest and went back to bed while I put him back on follow. Woke up and I was level 37 paladin. Trust me, these low ranks don't teach you how to play your character. This game is extremely 11111111111 at its current status. Did I know how to cast Flash on my RDM? Yes. Did I know how Sentinel worked? Yes. Does that make me a worse player than you for grinding on the same things over and over with auto-attack, which you would do at that level with the random skill chains? Does this effect you at all? No. Will there be posts about how you are upset I did this five years ago? Probably.

Every time someone says people won't know how to play their job at 50, I "lol."

The game is designed to let you create your own job and play your own way. That's like "Tanaka's vision" that people want to murder. Grinding to Rank 50 is basically "farming abilities." I play Conjurer. I want Defender II. I don't give 2 [cents] how to play Marauder at Rank 1, 25, 35, 50 or ever. Don't care. Simply want Defender. So I "lol" when you say I can't play my job (Conj) cause I auto-leveled Marauder. It's really funny.

What was out of line? Using the /follow command XI has? Being in party while asleep? I didn't do any actions but because of experience points I leveled up. So what is "out of line"? I did everything that is legal. Why does this make you so upset when it has no effect on you?

i think 1 person killing for 5 would take him 10-20 times longer to hit max level than if all 5 were actively playing.
is impossible to stop afk leaching, not that i agree with it, i kick anyone from my party if they afk to long.
But i think this complain leads nowhere , theres no way to fix it.Blame the party leader who PL the rest.Then if he wants to expend over 10 times as long as what normally would take to a full party to get that sp , well, his choice i supouse lol.

Personally ? anti bot anti rmt systems plays a huge part of this game demise.people need to stop looking to what the guy in the corner is doing and focusing more on yourself and you group.Let the Gms deal with them and maybe we can have a better community all together.

Says an afk powerleveller. Honestly, who else *actually* argues the above? Truly, except someone with something to lose.
Honestly yeah you can. Pretty easily. No commands through three consecutive fights=you're not there. If you're that slow of a player to be unactionable over 3 fights, you need to work on your speed and attention span or your party needs to fight harder mobs.

Getting rid of it wouldn't affect normal players at all.
