Why do some of you do this? It makes no sense to me. Why not just vendor it and get the whole 50gil instead of losing 2-3 gil for tax?
Err sorry about the chat window. I forgot to edit it out.

ive asked myself the same question many times. Its just people that A)Dont care or B)Dont understand anything about in game economy
lol @ the first retainer name
Whats more bizarre is how an item can be 250 and all of a sudden someone thinks its ok to drop the price to 50 gil.
Bunch of muppets.
I can understand slight undercutting, but this is basically destroying the economy.
It's the very reason I wish SE would implement average sale prices (based on the sales history) and have that as the default when dragging an item into the retainer window. Would make it a bit more idiot proof at least.
EDIT:-
This is what I mean ...

I have made over 50k buying allagan pieces from the MB and selling them to vendor. I think people are just downright DUMB.
It's the default. Anybody with a background in computers can tell you that the average user will simply use the default 90% of the time rather than try to change it, no matter how little sense it makes.
People will learn. WoW defaults to a price and people don't list stupid stuff that often. At least not on my server. I would prefer the defualt price to be blank. Then a person would (you hope) at least look at the lowest price. I would imagine the huge undercutters are just saying sell and okay. When I undercut its by 1gil. Unless I think the value is inflated and I put my stuff up at a happy medium.
