Headsets!!!!! Does anyone use them????

Hiya all!!! I have the PS3 version of Final Fantasy and Im a LVL 20 character on it!!! I have been through a few caves without the need of a headset but Im wondering does anyone talk to each other on this game via a headset??? If so how????

I use my laptop and my headset. My mouse usually sits on my lap for when I need to use my push to talk for Ventrilo. But otherwise, I have yet to see a Vent app for PS3.

I am a PC guy, so I can't tell you anything about using voice apps on a PS3.

Members of my Free Company use our Ventrilo account all the time. We socialize on it in our "Public Room" and use a "Team Room" during dungeon runs. We all use headsets. It's a great tool and I recommend it. Mumble, and Team Speak are also great. All three VOIP apps can be downloaded for free.

On a related note: I wear a headphone/mic headset all the time to keep from disturbing my spouse who isn't into hearing the sounds of death and mayhem that I am spreading.

There is no official voice chat support in the game so as saif above you'd need to use a 3rd party tools for that.

I'd suggest just having a laptop or PC on with ventrilo or teamspeak on it. wireless headset preferably. So far I've only noticed groups of friends or FCs using voice chats as theres nothing in-game to support it sadly

you can also download VOIP apps on your smartphone instead of using a laptop. SKYPE, ventrilo, teamspeak, mumble, etc. I chat on skype all the time with my friends when we play.

But since we are starting our own free company we might be moving to mumble because I believe the smart phone app is free where as the teamspeak and ventrilo apps are 5.00 on the app store.
