Disabling/Smothering Bagnakhs

I believed that these where great weapons, maybe even greater than the Peiste Cesti, but then I went and tried them myself.
The effects hit very often yes, but I cant seem to notice them making that much of a difference in a fight.

I mean I can barely see any poison damage (if at all) and the paralyze effect although cool rarely works.
I am not sure if I have to build mage stats in order for the debuff effects to be noticable, but since I haven't these barely work.

I still like these weapons but not over Peiste, I wouldn't pay 1million for them since I can pay 50k and get Peiste +1.

Exactly this. I bought just a pair of NQ Disabling and I did notice the Paralyze debuff process quite frequently, but didn't notice exactly what that buff was doing. Keep in mind I was testing this on some of the mid-level NMs so it may be that the mid-level NM's are resistant. Kinda tough to test on leve mobs since most of them die too fast anyways in party. Perhaps someone could test on a mongrel or hedgehog to see if they stop their special annoying moves.
