    It's not just him. It looks like in SE's efforts to democratize the game for all the players that were originally locked out due to AFK and artificially low server limits, they are exposing some game design weaknesses with the large user counts of 7500 per world. Hopefully when the extra battlegroup, three new servers, server transfers and trial period players quit, the game gets back to the better network throughput I became accustomed to during closed beta and balances the population better.

    Yes, game engines do cause graphical glitches. With a high end rig I became accustomed to a very snappy response, and as of about two days ago, chocobo and FATE movements have become jerky. It feels like client sampling has been decreased in frequency due to network bandwidth limitations.

    The AOE lag is just another dynamic that I don't try to talk about because I (used to) have a pretty good ping and am not Oceanic. I'd never try to tell someone they don't have it.
