    Dungeon XP VS FATE XP

Full Party dungeon runs net more XP per hour than FATES when you have a solid party to spam the dungeons. FATEs net more XP per hour solo or with a party less than full. So, next time you shout for FATEs try and get that full party into the dungeons and you will see a world of difference in time vs rewards in terms of net XP per hour. Just my advice, since the majority of the community is dead set on the idea that FATEs are the fastest way to level, I just assume everyone thinks they NEED to use DF for dungeons.

So you could enter a dungeon like for example Sastasha or Haukke with 8 people?

Wait, so let me get this straight. You are saying you can queue up with a full party (8 people) for a dungeon run that is meant for a light party (4 people)? I would believe it to be faster as well if this is the case. Because you would kill the mobs and bosses extremely fast.

Dungeons mobs average approximately 1000+ exp a kill without food. It all depends on if the party you are with goes after the trash or not.

I think the point the OP is trying to make is that with a competent group, dungeons are faster xp, overall, than fates.
For example, on my 35 BLM, I can do a fate, where I will probably get maybe 1-2k xp for killing/tagging mobs... or 0 xp if there's a ton of people there. (Dont do enough % damage to get a partial claim) And then get around 12-13k xp if I get gold. This is with with 50% armory bonus.

Or, I can go into a dungeon, where each trash mob gives me about 1000-1200 xp.
So that is 10 mobs to get a fate's worth of xp. However fates only spawn so fast, whereas the dungeon mobs are just there, waiting for you. Once you are done, keep your group together and queue up again.

Good way to put it into perspective. Our FC does dungeons through the 30's its pretty effective. It is nice to see people trying to clear up some of the misinformation people are posting on the Forums

Dungeons give less exp/hour than fates even with a premade group of 4 amazing players.

While I could tell dungeons may give better rewards overall, their difficulty, time to get set up, waiting on certain members and needing a competent group makes it far more trouble then FATEs where any random person can burn through them mindlessly. The risk/reward ratio is just out of wack. Next to no one is going to bother with it for the exp.

Either one is a fail for me, I was enjoying the game for a while..but the dungeons are so bland and boring...the grind just to level up is too much..and forget about the grind once you hit 50. Honestly this game has a cool atmosphere and great music. That's about it. If I wanted to "fate grind" I would be playing Guild Wars 2. I left that piece of garbage for something different because grinding "fates" is what you do in that game.
