System Clock change causes you to be disconnected from the server

    Tried and tested.

If you change the system time on PC while you're logged in, you get disconnected from the server. Did it once last night because my time was an hour out and I tested it just now by dropping the time by a minute.

Mass log out for anyone using DST

I can't think of any reason why the client would need the system clock data, because when it was an hour out on my PC it still had the right time in-game and all RTE will be handled server side

Could be simply poorly written coms routine depending on the PC's clock - "significant" (even a minute would be significant in this case) change / jump in the time would make it (to think) the connection has timed out and spit out the 90000 error. Or it could be some "clever" way of preventing hacking / spoofing / redirecting who-knows-what ... However during the DST change it might not happen as you're simply (in principle) shifting the time zone while leaving the actual internal / OS clock untouched - you can try to test it by changing the time zone or DST settings now manually to know for sure.

Any serious encryption relies on correct time being available.
As DST is just a visual change in the OS, that shouldn't result in any issues, but actually changing time would.

Now, if only the server time was consistent instead of 1 second going between 0.9 and 1.1s (or something like that).....

Messed with DST, it didn't explode.
