While casting spells, UP/DOWN does not highlight names on party list

After selecting a spell, using UP/DOWN to select party members does not highlight members names on the party member list.

Steps:

1.) Select "Cure"
2.) Promted to select a target
3.) Press UP/DOWN to select party members from party list.
4.) [Bug] Party Member's names are not highlighted on party list.

This is true for both Target Mode A and Target Mode B.

Currently, party member list names are highlighted only if you do not have a spell cued.

Am I the only one who as problem with this then?

Because I do not know which party memeber it is selctng, I cannot cure members reliably. Then party members die. This is sad. There are many succesful targeting systems available in video games to copy from.

FFXIV has none of them.

Shall I give up on this game completely?

Who am I kidding? Even if you fix targeting the game will not magically become fun.
