Sorry, but where is the official post saying 1.0 players can't move? All I can see is people saying it won't happen, but nothing official.

They already demolished our gil before 2.0 came out AND more importantly they already let us do World Transfers back in June/July when they offered us a free transfer then to non 1.0 worlds before 2.0 started. Those people that took those transfers are already on non-legacy worlds, there would be no point in blocking anyone else wanting to transfer now based on 1.0 status since they already allowed it once.

The World Transfer back in June/July was between Legacy worlds only as in 1.0 all worlds were in JP datacenter, and they split it into JP and NA/EU.

Also, they didn't "demolish" your old gil. It was a re-valuation where 10 old gil was worth 1 new gil. Everything sold by NPCs or sold to NPCs got scaled accordingly as well, so your net worth was the same before and after, just with smaller numbers.

Thanks for updating. With that information, I only have two solutions. The first is that I get off of Excalibur and go to a low pop Legacy server and then hope that friends transfer over to that from the new worlds. The second option, if that cannot work, is walk away from this game. I'm not starting over on about 90 levels of playing just because an economy already screwed up might not screw up already screwed up new worlds. Smart stuff...awesome.
