    Garuda (normal) bugged?

Garuda story mode appears to be bugged.

Had a decent DF group for a change, everyone did everything the way they were supposed to - we had a tall pillar saved for the last big AoE, the tank hit his LMB just before, everyone was topped off and behind the pillar, Feathers were long dead. The AoE hit the tank for around 2k damage, the rest of us on the order of 2300 (my hp is around 1990, just or reference). We had done this twice, just to be sure we were getting everything right. We were.

This amount of damage is, according to the healers we've spoken to, is near triple what it used to be when they'd done the fight. What's going on?

Hey Dire, I was your tank. After That group disbanded I tried with 2 hours and had the same problem. One of the groups had 2 level 50's that had been scaled down, and they were also getting on shot. The damage done during that ability is much higher than intended. For any confusing the ability we're talking about is the big explosion after the 3rd time she hides. I had personal CD's up, as well as my limit break (as a tank) AND was hidden behind a pillar that had taken no damage yet, and still got hit for 2500 (out of 2800)

It's the average health between all the pillars. In the times I've tried this, it doesn't matter which pillar you stand under and how big it is. If you have only 1 pillar, you're going to have a bad time.

    Edit for comment below:

Your DPS should not let a single pillar fall. When I did it the first time, there were 4 pillars still up. However, 1 pillar was at critical (i.e. 1 rock). We took a lot of damage. I remember our healer died.

Next time, and every time after that, we killed all mobs and our pillars never fell to lower than 2 rocks. We sometimes even had 50% health after her 3rd phase ulti.

We had an attempt where only one pillar had been destroyed, 2 were perfectly fine, and the last still had 2 rocks on it (so 2/3 health) If that's true we should have been fine on that attempt with a tank's limit break.

From what I've gathered the point is to have all the pillars up, as high as possible. In normal mode it's manageable to have all the pillars up by the 2h attack, and that's what every party should aim for. There is no way you could survive with only one pillar up even if it didn't take any damage.

    You can do it~!
