As an Australian player and given the limited payment options, I too will cancel my service when the game becomes pay2play.
I enjoy the game, but not if paying for it is a hassle.

in america i would feel much more comfortable to pay using my paypal account, which i have used for years and other countries can use, over a company i hear constant bad things about that i have never used. if one country can use it the rest of us should have the same option if it is available for us to use.

Paypal isn't perfect either. Made an account with them, only to find they would not accept a debit card, wound up deleting said account within ten minutes.

ClickandBuy doesn't charge you conversion rates when you pay directly through them. If you put money on the account, then you will be charged fees. Right now, what SE says you will pay, that is what you will pay through instant-pay with clickandbuy. Nonetheless, SE should offer everyone more payment options.

that wasn't my point. my point is if other countries are allowed to use paypal(i used it as an example) then the rest of us should be allowed to use the same option. i have a paypal account and have for years so am comfortable with them, but have never used clickandbuy.ClickandBuy doesn't charge you conversion rates when you pay directly through them. click buy is bad but you pay for crysta through pay pal though need make easier to do so

This is already an option. You can use "Ultimate Game Cards" to pay for Crysta, which pays for FFXIV.The other option would be Game Cards sold at major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Meijer etc. Other Major MMO have this option why not SE for FFXIV and or FFXI. I understand that SE MMO may not be as large as other MMO and that POL may have issues with providing that service for FFXI. But I feel that should you allow this it will be easier for more to have access to the game.
"Payment via UltimatePay UltimatePay is a payment system handled by PlaySpan Inc. Players using Ultimate Game Cards will have their balance managed as Ultimate Points. Users can select from over 85 different payment methods (although the specific details will differ from country to country)."

You can usually find the Ultimate Game Cards at drug stores like Walgreens or whatever.

This still leaves american players stationed overseas in a tough spot on how to pay. I can't go to wal-greens or 7/11 and pick these cards up, and honestly, why should I have to. Might as well play something I can just pay for from the comfort of my own chair.

They really do need more options.
I'm just a bun boy, doing bun boy things.

I feel fortunate that when I fill my gas tank at Sheetz, I can hop into the store and pick up an Ultimate Gamer Card.
Though, I have to say it ticks me off that I have to do that. I tried making an account with Click and Buy, but got stuck with the verified by visa BS. Apparantly, verified by visa doesn't like debit cards. (Guess I need to get off my lazy butt and get an actual CC lol.) After spending an hour and a half trying to get it fixed, whining and moaning to the boyfriend the whole time (God bless his soul.), I eventually gave up and went with UGCs and crysta. Such a ridiculous ordeal to play a game.
Also, I'm curious, why doesn't Crysta work for Australian players? (I'm in America.)
