I think the billing system here is something that SE really needs to work out if they ever want this game to be successful (well, one of many things). I don't honestly have a problem with Crysta, myself, and I'm cool with using Paypal and all that, but most people probably aren't going to want to mess around with a convoluted billing system.

They need to simply directly accept credit cards and Paypal without these unnecessary third parties. Crysta can still be an option if it's meant for other games, as well.

I don't think billing would be on the horizon as the game is a mess, and from the other thread no one pay for this. If would make them look conceited if they work on it, before other game elements.

Honestly guys a few thing here about the sony hacking.

1 DO NOT BUY INTO THE SONY PR.
2 NO NOT BUY IN THE WHAT THE HACKERS CLAIM

The house of reps commerce side had a meeting with sony ceo (who never showed up only theor pr rep) And it was found out that sony never kept their security system up to date nor had a firewall. Also that sony reported the incident 2 days after the fact and only had it investigated it days later. Pretty much the way sony ran their security anyone coulda hacked them. SE does try to keep up their security and so far from what I know has yet had a major incident.

I do not think we have anything to worry about.

Also Yes the ultimate play card can buy crysta. Tbh it isn't that stupid of an idea, considering how long it can take to get a credit or debit card. Add that the id theft that can go along with those. I perfer using a point system to buy stuff then relying on a cc or debit card.

Anon's(4chan) not the collective whole but a few individuals say that they caused it and such but have threated that they will release info next time but they are also users so I don't really see the point in there vendetta due to the fact when the attack Sony and attack other users they ineffably attack themselves.

But the attacks could of been to any company, sadly it was Sony as they disgruntled the wrong majority.

Sadly those cards I don't think are available here in Australia, so I'm stuck with clickNBuy though it looks safe enough... and will hopefully remain safe.

PS: I use a low Credit Limit credit card just in the off chance it gets stolen.... its my online credit card for games and unsafe looking purchases.

people here seem to be asking for something like paypal to pay with. I thought I would point out that click and buy is like paypal except its not owned by ebay. Its just a third party system many companies use third parties such as click and buy. I agree however that click and buy's service is quite poor compared to others, but SE have always used click and buy as a third party payment option, well for a long time anyway as that is what their online stores use.

I have no idea, and for someone who posted earlier we are not asking t pay with paypal tho it would be another option we are asking to pay with direct CC to SE directly.

Thousands of companies use Third party companies to do billing options with as its safer and easier to do so, and it isn't just small companies that do so. Companies like Aston Martin and Lush use third parties.

I have to agree... I am not very comfortable using Click and Buy to be honest. I've heard too many reports of problems with them, and while I'm not into the whole 'buy Crysta using paypal' it seems to be my only other option because I DO NOT want to use Click and Buy.

When I was playing FFXI and SE was handling it, I can honestly say, I never ONCE has a issues with them. Everything was billed correctly and when it was supposed to be, I don't understand why SE has to outsource payments to a company that I'm not total comfortable dealing with.

I would like SE to either reconsider using C&B or give us more options for payments.
