Click and Buy sucks really bad though, there have been several occasions where Click and Buy has screwed people over and are noteworthy before you sign up for them look the information up yourselves. Personally I would stick to Crysta.

Dargoth but Crysta is a retarded option why should i have to buy something just to sign up for a game. SE just needs to take my Visa number and bill me directly. Or i should be able to go down to Best Buy or over to Amazon and Buy a gamecard and apply it to my account. Why does SE need to make this method of payment so difficult to obtain. KISS method... Keep it simple stupid

I've been browsing the forums since their inception. This is the first time I've felt a need to post. I personally have friends that refuse to even try the game because of the convoluted payment methods. This is certainly something SE needs to address - the sooner the better.

It's a shame that SE doesn't recognize the members of the uniformed services stationed overseas. Not every player has the ability to go to a wal-mart and buy a game card either. Their personal information section doesn't even take FPO or APO addresses. I refuse to use click and buy (especially because some banks and CC companies refuse to allow patrons to utilize them)- I don't have the ability to buy game cards either. Here's what my friend told me when I tried to coax him into playing:

"yea that paypal ripoff company isnt working with my cc# they didnt have a high enuff integrity check on business practice i guess.. apparently they have too many issues with fraud charges whereever they operated prior to getting the FF14 contract so they had been blocked by me bank. i just dont understand the point of buying a currency used to trade in for time on the game tho... cant i just pay for the time directly like i did in FFXI?!?!?!? there is enuff time draining puzzles and quests INSIDE the game that i shouldnt have to deal with one prior to even logging in..."

The Crysta design is kind of dumb but it just mimics the way Xbox and PSN store works where you buy money or funds to use for game time, but originally they was going to have other things you could use Crysta on.

Crysta is horrible. Just in general, horrible.

And the stupid thing is, there's really no billing system for XIV that doesn't use Crysta. You can use Click and Buy to buy Crysta, or Paypal to buy Crysta (except I can't because that option is not on my account) or you can just outright buy Crysta.

Even if this game EVER gets up to par, the billing system alone is enough to kill off any new interest. Charge people the EXACT AMOUNT they owe you, how freaking hard is that, seriously?
