ALL relic quest progress lost...

Approx Time: 10:00 pm CST 10/16/2013 (when I first noticed, I believe the problem actually occurred on Monday-- 10/16/2013 at roughly 7:00 pm CST)
Progress: I had completed all steps up to Titan. I believe I may have accidentally abandoned the quest from journal when I was leaving a failed Titan duty finder group. It may have been a result of maintenance as well. I cannot remember for certian when I still have the quest in my journal.

Nevermind redid whole thing, this time it didnt lose quest at hydra, but hope I get gold in return since i had to raise another 60k for the materia if they do fix this.. I still have one unfinished gae bolg in retainer for proof

Well I've given up and just bought the stuff over again. waiting a few weeks really isn't worth it. I'm also sure i wont get any compensation at all.

Couldn't escape Titan instance but figured dropping quest would kick me from it and I could just pick up my progress only to have it reset on me.

So if I want to transfer over to another server (I'd like to move to exodus with my group) would that interfere with the fixing process? I'm terrified that if I make the move you guys will somehow invalidate my bug report since it happened on my current server (Behemoth).

I beat Ifrit HM around 3:30pm and my journal states that I have "extinguished the Lord of the Inferno..." and that I must fight Garuda HM. On the right side of my screen I have the text: Obtain a howling gale in the Howling Eye (HM). That being said, if I scroll down the journal entry where it lists step by step what I've done in the quest line for A Relic Reborn it still says that I need to beat Ifrit HM--essentially, it contradicts itself in the same entry.

I looked in the duty finder but the Howling Eye HM isn't unlocked and just for good measure, I beat Ifrit again but to no avail.

Figured out the problem digging through these forums. Looks like I had to talk to Papalymo at Waking Sands to trigger the quest.

Well you can learn from my mistake then. I had transfered servers (From: Gilgamesh -> To: Lamia ) and this caused the Relic quest to abandon in itself.
Who knows if this invalidates my progress, but I will not be playing until I get it back. (If they want my business that is.)

Thats not the same as the bug this thread represents. We've lost out quest progress completely. Open a new thread.
