ALL relic quest progress lost...

Accidentally abandon my quest when I enter hydra instance alone and wanted to get out of it..now all progress is lost..

Well the same thing happened to me after the major maintenance to add the additional servers. I had just finally beat titan after so many tries and i got my ore needed for the quest. Logged back in after the maintenance and it said i needed to kill titan again. i was so pissed i have not attempted titan again yet.

I and my party no one got alumina salts after we beat chimera at a relic reborn quest. We have won for 3 times but we all stuck in duty till time's up and duty was failed. I fought as white mage to get Thyrus.

Steps:
1. At Hydra Stage of Relic Reborn Quest
2. Abandon (I walked in alone by accident)
3. Go to Geralt
4. Re-accept quest
5. Have to start over...

It took me a LOT of gil to get the materia for the weapon they sold for 80k both.. I cannot afford that again..
It bothers me that the message for that hydra fight and that it requires 8 players is somehow only in the chat.. so easy missable..

Please Square Enix be good and fix this. A lot of people simply cannot afford the materia again. I do not mind doing the bosses over, but the gil is the problem.

had similar issue for my blm on cactuar server at around 530pm est 9/18/2013 ony my character polly prissypants after i zoned into ifrit hm for the start of the primal series for the quest. freaked me out at first then after I found out I had to start the chain all over (on top of having my teams running back get traded to the colts) I was a little bit more than frustrated. Im ok now but im going to have to sped time and money farming to get the sanguine sceptor made on top of getting groups formed for hydra and chimera( not hard fights I know) without queuing in duty finder on top of doing ifrit again. however, it could be worse if from what im hearing people are having the same issues after downing titan which makes ifrit laughable.

I was logged in for a good amount of time and got disconnected randomly, when I logged back in I joined a party to do Hydra battle then I noticed that the quest was gone.. not in tracker or log. I went back to the quest giver, Gerolt, and talked to him and now my whole quest line has started over!? I have the Unfinished Omnilex already and equiped (and beat Hydra because I didn't ditch the party, I already said I would go..) but now I have to do everything over again including buying the book and expensive materia again? This is ridiculous. My quest needs to be put back at least to where where it was at Hydra.

I was logged in while doing some shopping in Ul'dah. I randomly received a runtime error and the game closed. Upon logging back in i noticed that my relic quest was no longer on my quest tracker (Was on the part to obtain a hyperfused ore from Titan HM). I checked my Key Items and my White Hot Ember (Ifrit HM) and my Howling Gale (Garuda HM) were no longer in my inventory. I went to the quest starter Gerolt in Hyrstmill and sure enough he had the quest available but at the VERY start of the chain. This bug just kind of destroyed my ambition to play the end game now, having sunk so much time and gil into getting this far in the relic quest only to have a bug destroy all that progress made me not want to play anymore lol.

EDIT: I DID not abandon this quest, just to make sure that is 100% known by the Dev Team.
