ALL relic quest progress lost...

Was at Chimera. Entered the instance alone. I tried abandoning the quest in panic, hoping it would end the duty. It didn't, so Chimera killed me. Went back to quest giver to find him having me start all over again! A quest should resume where it was left off. I handed the rod in, I should not have to spent more gil and more time doing it all over again! When I went to put in a ticket for a GM, all I got in reply was a copy paste telling me to go to forums and post my issue. How are we not able to speak with anyone directly in game. Do we not have in game support? This is very frustrating.
Please assist.

Honestly im happy to hear at least you got some kind of reply for your ticket. I put up 2 tickets about this and haven't received a single reply so far. What i figured was; since nobody seems to think on the dev side that this is a serious impact on the end game, i thought it would be still faster to start all over and actually finish it before anybody on the company side would reply. What i think it should have been though was to rollback the progress on the quest and help the players that way rather than speaking vaguely on giving up a deadline for the fix. Don't get me wrong, there are many good sides to this game but honestly if it takes this long to even fix a bug in the very core aspect of the game, maybe the game wasn't meant to be officially released yet who knows....

Is there any chance of getting a reply from a Dev/Mod regarding this issue? I was directed here by a GM with the hopes that I would at least receive some sort of acknowledgement of my concern. Some people (IMHO) don't belong reporting their issue because they abandoned the quest, but a lot of the reports here are legitimate Quest disappearances. It's frustrating enough that the problem exists, it is simply compounded upon by the fact that we're left in the dark with no idea what's going on.

I received a survey request for the GM I 'dealt' with, and I'm holding off on replying until I at least hear back... was *hoping* to deliver good feedback.

I already kill Chimera and hydra but I did not get Thyrus weapen. System ask me to kill hard Navel too
But it is much different than other players setting. Other players get Thyrus weapen just after they kill hydra. Please help me thanks.

Seeing all these reports doesn’t give me a good feeling thinking about having to go through this quest in a few weeks. The problem seems to exist since several weeks already but I haven’t seen any sign of solution for the players concerned. Is there a solution at all and if it is a manual one? Like Game master sending you the items you have lost? Or is this really just an open issue and people are left in the dark? Knowing that gathering the items you need takes a long time and also knowing that there is a small chance of losing everything doesn’t make the so called endgame content too appealing for me. And why is this thread still in the In-Game bug reports forum and not in the accepted bug forum?

This quest is bugged for me. I have the Unfinished and the adds I am supposed to kill don't have a quest icon above their head not count when I kill them.
