Parley was a huge let down and not even fun. I want a fun card game for PVP & collection!
Please consider.

Parley is cute. but not really a major game mechanic.
though yes cards would be nice for airship/ferry trips.
Im for a cardgame aswell... i Liked the cardgame in FFVIII
maybe we could with a certain item transfer almost beat mobs in cards![]()

It'd be pretty fun. There could also be a system ala Final Fantasy 8 where you can convert monsters into cards as well. Players playing the game would have their characters on the ground sitting cross legged with some sort of small table on the ground. ( Just like how crafting apparatus magically appears) Spectators will be able to view a game in progress as well by pressing Home > Spectate. I wouldn't like games to be held in instances like market wards.
It would also be playable at tables or benches, that would bring a lot of more usefulness to those empty chairs you see at the adventurers' guilds and benches all around each city. Just like Final Fantasy 8 and 9, it could be part of the lore as well - a lot of people in their respective worlds would be able to play cards.
great post^^
but cant we just play everywhere aslong there a 2 ppl willing to play and no mob disturbs them?
Triple Triad FTW ^^
In what ways is Triple Triad better than Tetra Master? I've played both and Tetra is more in-depth and leveling up etc...
Who does parley anyway just fight the mobs, parleys there so you dont have to, forget that!
Id love to have card game matches.
I wish XI and Tetra Master were linked together, like there would be a button/key which asks someone if he would like to play Tetra Master, if accepted, the screen would switch to a Tetra Master tabel...like in IX
Da brat' mir doch einer ein Chocobo!
