Ignorant people doing endgame.

Just got out of an ifrit hm run, and people don't seem to take any of the fight serious.

First thing I say when I zone in. "Is this anyones first time? If so speak up so we can explain the fight." Silence. Ok fight starts and very quickly we realize we are having a stunning problem. So we ask DRG no to stun. He wasn't an english speaker but he got the point via auto translate.

So after our first wipe I ask again. "If this is anyone elses first run, plz speak up." Silence again. Ok second run. Right off the bat eruption kills our whm. We notice pld is dding. So we say something. "PLD who isnt main tank do nothing but auto attack and stun when he uses eruption!" Silence. We wipe not a mintue later.

After this we respawn and said pld finally speaks. "Lolsry I waxnt reading chat log! x) This is my first,time. "

This is an online videogame in which when you use dutyfinder, you play with random people. Stuff like this happens. deal with it.

If you don't like it, don't use the duty finder and find a Free Company to run it with. It happens all of the time.

I have a casual FC. Which I love. I don't like endgame FC because my schedule. I tried getting a endgame ls but not many around so idk. Also this is mainly just a rant so yeah. . .

It's just how it is these days. I don't really think it's necessarily a BAD thing, at least for earlier endgame, as long as people are willing to learn. Personally, I find some enjoyment in the hands-on learning process, but that's usually with other like-minded folks (FC members, static groups, etc). Discovery and wonderment is also something people enjoy, neither of which can be found if the fights are immediately spoiled to them. Again though, not really something I'd want to put unto random DF groups, but that's just me.

honestly what do you people expect by using the duty finder. Everyone and there dog is going to que, first timers and old timers on it, if that is an issue for you don't use the DF and form your own groups. Coming here is not solving anything just makes you look like a whiner.

On my 1st ifrit HM run i used duty finder, we wiped once then won the 2nd go around. >.>

Not sticking up for those who don't speak up when asked if new so tactics can be reviewed (that would be their own fault) but to be automatically upset because it's someones first time is ignorant. Because you never did it a first time right? You did all your dungeons and HM primals in one shot each time, every time right? EVERY ONE has a first go, it's the way things are. DOn;t expect to always be running with vets, the game is still new, to most.
