Try checking all of the return email address in the mail..and see that all the email address tally with the official ones, before you send anything.

Check the header/source of the mail, while the links or url displayed may seem legit in you mail client/browser the real links can point to another website. If you didn't request/open a support the ticket, it's a scam yes. If you did open a support ticket, it's probably legit -- unless bad luck and the scammers send you a similar email to the ticket you opened.

If you're not sure, call SE support hotline to provide the requested info.

This seems a bit suspissious! Having that scammer can remove your security token from your account (however you still need to be able to login to the SE account to be able to do that).

I would hold off and copy that and send it into another support ticket via the website to find outing it is legit. Right now hacking is a real problem. Hence why you see so many Gil spammers. A lot of them are hacked accounts.

No point replying anyway if there's no ticket number in the email as they won't know what the reply relates to. That omission, together with the request for the security token details, makes me highly suspicious.

I wouldnt treat this as suspicious. You're asking to get into an SE account and they need to verify you. Those are all details captured in the SE account.

Doesn't raise any alarms for me. I've played a game called DOFUS since 2005 and since it's a french based game anytime you recover your account through support you are required, by their law, to send them a photocopy of your drivers license or a photo id card to prove that you are the owner of the account. You're also required to make a new email address that's never been tied to a DOFUS account. I've only had to do this once or twice but I've always covered my DL# up and it's never been an issue.
