15 minute wait after leaving Duty Finder!!!!!!!!

This has got to change. What is the point in making us wait 15mins before we can us duty finder again? Duty finder times are already pushing 30mins+ and with waiting 15mins can be close to an hour. I am talking about Hard Mode Primals (Titan) use DF join a group try for a little bit but if it fails I'm not staying.

If you use duty finder for hard mode titan and expect a pug to beat him after "trying for a little bit" then you are an idiot.

If anything the penalty for leaving a dungeon should be equal to the time limit provided by the dungeon to prevent people like you from ruining the run for 7 other people.

I think 30mins is long enough. In some cases if we cant even get to the heart because people keep falling off or whm can cure or tank cant keep hate why the hell should I stick around. I'll be glad when SE adds the gear requirements for these fights. You act like I leave every one I go to most of the time its someone else. I've used to DF for Ifrit and Garuda HMs. Oh And I've only done like 15 runs and left 3 of those.

It's only the first person to leave that gets the 15 min lockout. Simple solution is don't be the first person to leave. There will always be someone who rages and leaves first especially on HM Titan.

I just spent 2 hours in duty finder only to get shoved in a party with 1 afk dps and 15 mins on the timer. Thanks for the additional 15 min wait on top of my evidently tiny 2 hour wait.

If you look on the duty finder, there is an option that says "Join groups in progress" Uncheck that and you will only que for fresh runs.

Sometimes that works in your favor though. The other night we were doing the Eikon story dungeon to kill Ultimate Weapon. We were on Eikon and we lost our bard. So we 7 manned it and someone joined in progress on the First Stage of Eikon. We cleared him, the new guy got in on the next Version of Eikon and we cleared the dungeon. So he got a 2hour run in 15 minutes.

I suggest making a pre-made group from your realm for HM Titan, at least for until people get better gear. Coordinating over voice helps too

If you ditch a dungeon in progress, you should have to wait to reque imo.

Now what they could do is add a group poll option where you click "Surrender" or something and if the Surrender gets 3/4 votes or 7/8 votes the dungeon is disbanded with no que penalty

Because those that rage out and quit are usually the reason a party is bad in the first place.

No, the timer does not need to go, End of discussion. Perhaps you'd like to suggest a way for you to leave the group without a penalty like the surrender option I suggessted instead. The timer is a deterrent to pricks and rage quitters and needs to be there. It also prevents tank abuse/healer abuse.

I guarantee you if they took that out, you'd que for a dungeon as a DPS with that super long wait and the whm goes "Man, I don't like these classes" and just leaves and gets an instant que again and your stuck waiting again. Are you even thinking about the bad sides of what your asking for here?
