Two versions of PS3 FFXIV and still cannot play. (SUPER REGION LOCKED)

I purchased both a US copy of FFXIV:ARR and an AU/NZ copy from my local store.

My service account was registered in US since FFXI came out it had no EU option.
Since then I linked my FFXIV which plays on PC just fine.

I thought to myself I will import the US copy for the PS3 and play my copy that way (I should be able to register my code in mogstation and be done with it).. But NO!!
I load the game and it tells me that I need to add the code as a service (so not only is it now region locked but its locked to a single PSN account).

Anyway I try to enter the code and keep getting 'invalid' since my PSN region is not the same as the disc (EU vs US)..

I went out to my local shop and picked up another copy of the PS3 game and registered this code. Ok at least this code worked.

Try to load the game.. You need to purchase a code?! WTH!! it seems the client checks for a valid 'US service' licence not just that a key is installed on the console.

I delete the game and re-install from my local disc.. Game now loads, but when i try to use my service account it tells me it is in the wrong region..

BRAVO SE... Baravo on taking my $100 and giving me 2 useless discs and codes.

Why can't i just register the code in the mogstation and access it from any PS3.

    SUPER REGION LOCKING

    1. PSN Service Code prevents import, playing on another account.
    2. Actual software looks for specific PSN service code, prevents playing.
    3. Cant use software from other regions with service account, prevents playing existing account.

    4. You are still happy to take my monthly fees.

I've been a supporter for 11 years of online MMO fees to FFXI & FFXIV but this takes the cake.. I just want to play my account on my PS3. Why do you make it rely on service code rather than just allowing the software to install and check on login if the user has a PS3 service code.

EDIT: 5. In this day and age region locking is just barbaric, and this by far takes it to the extreme in how far SE will go to make sure people can't play.

I think you need to talk with someone above the usual guy at the customer service and see if you can get a correct code for free to replace the current one or ask them to enable to correct service or something.
Region locking is the stupidest thing ever created.

You need the disc, the psn account, AND the SE region to match. So if your PSN account is US, but your SE account is EU, the easiest solution is to create a new secondary PSN account set to EU, and use the EU disc. It sounds like you should have been able to use US everything though.
