New Lock Out feature, but no kick feature.

I am currently locked for leaving after someone left my group. We replaced him with a pug for AK that had no piece of level 50 gear besides the chest, whom also refused to leave.

I am not sure why I am being punished for leaving a group that was destined to fail. I understand the desire to not kick someone whom is just learning the instance, so at very least apply a iLvL requirement for instances that absolutely require it.

The fact YOU decide your going to fail because of simple gear is the laugh. Some people have skill with their class/characters and don't need to be over-geared to the teeth to succeed.

This is not the case with AK. I was ignorant in the fact that I did not know that they are already going to be placing a gear requirement on these dungeons. You are ignorant in the fact that you obviously don't know what AK even is. There are gear checks, there are skill checks, and sometimes there is both.

For the record, Af gear is ilvl 50 and the chest is 55. Ilvl matters more than "level". Also, dropping group without even trying makes YOU the problem. I wish I could cross server blacklist people, even if it meant longer queue times. Insta-quitters make the DF a giant pain in the ass.

Great gear can help carry bad players, but the problem remains. I realize that many people don't have the patience to help others figure out what they are doing wrong, but AK can be beaten by new 50s. I stand corrected on calling you an insta-quitter. Too many players currently do NOT know how to play their class. Just a few days ago, i had to explain to a lvl 28 lancer that we are a backstab class and that his fastest source of dmg was heavy thrust + impulse drive 4 times then repeat. People are not reading their skills and comprehending them. I have had to explain flash to several gladiators who couldn't hold agro for two seconds. It will get better with time, but everyone is racing through content currently. That type of experience doesn't translate well to understanding your role, or the optimal way to perform that role.

it's possible to dd/do amdapor keep with af gear, i've done it twice as a summoner in crap gear and when my scholar had barely any gear i had little issues after the first time

Yes if u need others in ur ak party to have great gear then u are extremely unskilled player.
