    Hell just with AK as an example they could do the Big dudes with swords drop 1 tome, while other mobs drop the bronze pieces or something.

    They could make it so chests give everyone 5 philosophy tomes. And silver instead of bronze. They could make 2 of the chests drop jewelery just for a little extra incentive.

    Bosses could straight drop more tomes of philosophy so instead of 80 a run you get 120 making it only take 43 runs of the duty. They could make the primals drop more too. Though all 3 primals are a harder fight than final boss they drop 1/5 of his tokens.

    I am sure there are more options we can come up with to fix this content grind. If any of you developers need help just shoot us some PM's for suggestions we can totally help with ideas.

    What I think is worse, is they have the nerve to make some mobs drop 1 gil. That's just downright insulting.

    Yeah, they really need to rethink this "end game" stuff. I fall asleep farming AK, its that boring.

    I don't mind grinding and working for my gear...but I do not like mind numbing stuff. Farming the same useless trash over and over is booooring!

    Where is the open world stuff?...

    I can understand a lot of people's frustrations at having to farm AK endlessly but it essence it's no different than any other MMO. Even in WoW most of us had our mains and at least one alt that we raided the same content with or did the same Heroic Dungeons with to get Valor to buy our upgrades. People rushed to end-game and exploited AK and got caught, so SE fixed the problems and now there's complaints? Be glad all they did was adjusted the trash instead of handing out bans or removal of the earned Tomes for exploitation. Someone previous said the game will fail if they don't fix everything....Well 10 years later XI still holds a million active accounts and YoshiP said that XIV would be considered successful with 500k. So most people in the Community aren't going to come crying on the forums when this game doesn't cater to the masses who want "Ease of Access" to their precious gear.

    There's a simple fix for those too lazy, and that have a problem with killing "trash", spam primals for tomes. That is after all what you want, is to kill boss mobs over and over for tomes. "Trash" mobs are part of the dungeon that you already get rewarded for completeing, so stop the damn whining.

    Too much trash, to make it worse, they have literally no purpose. Its just pull after pull of "wasting time" there isn't even a chance of something useful for them. There is too many making the dungeon longer than it needs to be, and they need a point so their very existence doesn't feel frustrating. Make me want to kill the, not have to.

    AF+1 gear was never meant to be progression gear it seems, but rather a reward for consistent participation in endgame content. Keep gives more than enough tombs. Notice how primals give like 5 and you get 50 per turn on coil. Keep gives 40 because of how much effort it takes to clear. People are complaining because they were spoiled by the exploits, not realizing they're not supposed to get AF+1 gear so easily.

    My issue isn't the rate of af+1 or mythology tombstones, the pointlessnessof the trash mobs as anything other than extending the time. They should feel even slightly rewarding to kill, otherwise they are a slog and not fun.
