AF+1 gear was never meant to be progression gear it seems, but rather a reward for consistent participation in endgame content. Keep gives more than enough tombs. Notice how primals give like 5 and you get 50 per turn on coil. Keep gives 40 because of how much effort it takes to clear. People are complaining because they were spoiled by the exploits, not realizing they're not supposed to get AF+1 gear so easily.
My issue isn't the rate of af+1 or mythology tombstones, the pointlessnessof the trash mobs as anything other than extending the time. They should feel even slightly rewarding to kill, otherwise they are a slog and not fun.
