first weekend after wednesday maintenance (1017)

Apparently the wednesday maintenance for increasing server capacity still not able to cope with the number of players in game as the dreaded 1017 still lurking there
and sometimes failed to update character list

its very annoying as most people try to play on weekends ... yet the server is full and they cant log in

wonder which moon SE will pull down to eorzea this time

Even queuing is hard to get. Which pisses me off the most.

I've run over a couple "Cant update NA/EU Character list" error , but didnt have a 1017 error since update :/ I hope for you that it's only temporary...

After spamming character login from the error 1017 message, I managed to get into Queue.....only to be kicked out from the error 90000. Even if you can get into Queue, the possibility of you entering the world is still pretty slim I see (or this can be an issue SE is working on), either way its very frustrating.

I have not had any problems logging in, even during peak hours on a full server. The longest queue I have had since the update was 4.

Congrats!!! i hope you too suffer the error of logging in.. it is highly disappointing when they say the fix something and it isn't fixed WTF ... Error 1017 haunts me!

I state a fact and you wish misfortune upon me? I didn't flaunt it, I was just making sure you were aware the experience you are having isnt the norm. You go ahead and hate on me if that makes you feel better about yourself. I will be taking down the primals on hard and running dungeons to stock up on mythic tombstones for my AF2 best of luck!

Having my first experience of 1017 right now, now I can understand why so many people have been complaining! Stuck on a Jap server so I'm guessing that's the problem. This is my first time playing an MMO but I understand that most MMOs have a queue system so that you don't need to spam login in the hopes you might finally be able to play, is there a queue system on the way for FFXIV (PS3)? Also, I had been reading a while back that SE would be allowing free transfers across worlds sometime in mid-September, anyone have any update on this?

Edit: Ah, I was just put in a queue but was then kicked off! Why would I be kicked from a queue?

If you got primals to go take down, why you wastin time in a thread about an issue that doesnt affect you?. Thing is, if you don't have problems with it theres no reason for you to chime in. Just doing so is basically you going "nya nya I can get in and you cant bleeueueeue", and this post right here is a continuation of that childishness.

Nope, my world was entirely full yesterday, I had to wait in queue for pretty long, but I had 0 errors of any kinds. I just don't like when people blame developer for anything they could. It's always the same, please try playing game that in fact has bad publisher/developer and then talk. For now - SE is making really good job, they had problems at the start but it's almost always the same, check the start of diablo 3 for example.
