personally I play on multiple characters because I don't always feel like letting my whole FC know that I'm on or sometimes I'll start a new character to do the intro area with a friend. I don't see why i shouldn't be able to send my alts gear or craft mats if I want to. It's just silly to think that one character would EVER have the room to store full sets of gear for ALL classes AND all the mats needed for all the different crafting classes.
