Does anyone know when Moogle will lift restrictions on player creation?

Hi,

So my friend just got the game and is trying to join the same world as me, which is Moogle, however, it says that they are not accepting any new player creations at the moment. I checked the player restriction list which was update about 25 mins ago and Moogle is not showing as having a restriction.

Does anyone know how long these restrictions normally last?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, that is the list we looked at, but when you actually try to create a character it wont let you join Moogle

Those official posts are truly useless. They only check whether or not character creation is restricted at the time of the post. But the restriction itself is handled real-time, changing depending on how many users are logged in to the server at any given moment.

My recommendation is to try creating a character on the server of your choice during that server's off hours. For US servers, that's typically 1-5 AM EST/EDT, especially on weekdays. To make it easier, design your character beforehand and save it as a character template. That way you can just quickly load the template, name your character, choose your patron deity (hardly matters except for roleplaying purposes), and be on your merry way.

Note that you can start the character creation process but still be blocked from completing it if the restriction reactivates before you finish. That's why I recommend creating a character template beforehand. I further recommend that you also predetermine your character's will-be name and deity.
