Thaumaturge Limit Break PS3

Whenever the Limit Break bar is filled I try to use my Limit Break. I have it set to my hotbar. But when I do, nothing happens. I know for Thaumaturge's it's an AoE so I need to select an area, but not even that comes up when I'm doing this on the PS3. No icon to position and click, no nothing. Not really sure why it isn't working.

I play on PC but with a controller and when I use the Limit Break, the target circle always starts waaaaay offscreen. Like in the sky or on a wall. I have to drag it in and then position it. Kind of pesky. It may not be the issue you have, but try using it and then move the targetting even if you can't see the target circle. It might not be starting in a spot that you can see it.

I played THM in the beta and that was the case as well for the PS3. You just have to move it within sight.

Great thanks Lunar! I didn't realize that you had to select an area for the Limit break. I had just been locking onto the boss, hitting limit break, and wondering why isn't something spectacular happening.

Yeah, all those abilities where you select an area are kind of cumbersome IMO.

It's better this way, I like the fact that I can select an area instead of a single individual. It makes it easier to target multiple targets like HM Ifrit's nails and HM Garuda's clones.
